My stay at the resort was a mixed bag. While I appreciated the cleanliness of the unit and the convenient access to outdoor facilities, there were significant drawbacks such as outdated furnishings and noisy neighbors that made my experience less enjoyable. The location is great, away from the noisy parts of the Outer Banks but still close to attractions.

While the location near the beach is a huge plus and the outdoor facilities like picnic areas are enjoyable, my stay was significantly affected by cleanliness issues and outdated furnishings. The units need some serious TLC to improve the overall experience. If you're looking for a family-friendly environment, this place has potential, but I'd recommend some caution regarding the unit's condition.

Our stay at Barrier Island Station was quite the mixed bag. While the beach access was wonderful and the area was truly beautiful, our accommodations left much to be desired. The unit was outdated and had numerous maintenance issues, which dampened our overall experience. We appreciated the efforts of the management to improve the property, but significant upgrades are still needed to make this a comfortable retreat.

My stay at the resort was a mix of great experiences and a few drawbacks. The location is fantastic, just a few minutes from the beach and some lovely spots in Duck. The amenities like the pools and recreational activities are significant highlights. However, the rooms, while clean, feel a bit dated, and the service is hit or miss. Overall, it’s a cozy place for families, but there's room for improvement in various areas.
